Sarah Bolt

Sarah Bolt is a second-year Doctor of Audiology student at the University of Pittsburgh. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science and a minor in Disability Studies. Before beginning graduate school, Sarah worked as a paraprofessional in the public school system, where she supported children with diverse learning needs. These experiences sparked her passion for advocacy and deepened her commitment to ensuring that all children have equitable access to the support they need to reach their full potential.

Sarah is excited to be a LEND trainee and looks forward to learning from an interdisciplinary team of professionals and peers. She aims to work as a pediatric audiologist and contribute to policy and systems-level changes that improve the lives of children with hearing loss and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Through her training, she hopes to empower families and advocate for lasting improvements in both healthcare and public policy.
