Natalie Points
- LEND Speech Language Pathology Trainee
Natalie Points is a second-year Speech-Language Pathology graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Exceptional Education from James Madison University.
She has gained experience working with people with disabilities across the lifespan and understanding how disability can change at each stage of life through her various clinical placements. She has worked with persons and families prenatally through the cleft and craniofacial clinic, with medically complex infants in the NICU, with school aged children, adults, geriatric patients, and end-of-life care.
Within her clinical practice, Natalie recognizes the importance of working with people and families to help them navigate access to resources and prioritize shared decision-making. Natalie looks forward to continuing to work with disabled individuals and hopes to accumulate more experience through her time in the LEND program.
