Katherine Davis

  • LEND Speech Language Pathology Trainee

Katherine is a graduate LEND trainee in her second year of completing a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Throughout her pursuit of learning how to serve others across the lifespan she has had clinical experience in UPMC Children’s Outpatient Hospital, Reach for Speech pediatric private practice, Veterans Administration Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Lutheran SeniorLife at Passavant Retirement Community and Advanced Care Center of Butler, and Rochester Area School District. Her passion for this field began in the completion of her undergraduate degree while spending time in Uganda with Hope Speaks. During this time, she began learning how to serve children and their families by making speech, language, and feeding therapy accessible and experienced how compassion and advocacy are a universal language. During her time as a LEND trainee she is looking forward to growing as a clinician and advocate in the field of neurodevelopmental disabilities through interdisciplinary collaboration.
